R. Gregory Alonzo is an American sommelier living and working in Europe. His forte is Italian wines, Spanish wines are his heritage, and Georgian wines … his passion.
Mr. Alonzo was born and raised in California and exposed to the local wines at an early age. To further his pursuit of wines around the world, Greg formally studied in Luxembourg, at the European School for Sommelier. While at the Claremont Colleges, he earned his BA Degree from Pitzer College. Deciding to pursue graduate studies, he earned his MA Degree from Georgetown University.
